We will be closed for a short summer holiday from 21st July, reopening on Thursday 1st August.

At The Roost we try to use only Scottish ingredients and will go that extra mile to source Scottish meat and fish for our menus. It is our philosophy that because Scotland’s larder is both interesting and plentiful, its seasons and varieties are the best guide for cooking as well as eating. Everything on our menus is made on the premises by Tim, from the bread to the ice-cream, so we know exactly what goes into every item, and can also adapt our dishes for specific dietary requirements.

Usual opening hours
Dinners 6.30 - 9.00pm (last booking)  Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings.
Lunches  12.00 - 2.00pm   Tuesday to Saturday à la carte and set lunch
Sundays  12.00 - 3.00pm  Fixed price menu with Roost Roast of the week.

Mondays  closed 

We will open on other evenings for large parties, and you can book the whole restaurant for special events. Just contact us to discuss possibilities.
